Generation 1 Summary

Generation 1 begins with our founder, Anna Arendelle, who is now the heir of her parents’ family business, a PR company. Anna and her best friend, Tina Bell, move to Willow Creek to start a new life. Both of them have already lost their parents.

One day, Anna happened to meet Hans Isles, who works as an investor. Anna and Hans quickly fall in love, and in just a week, they are engaged to be wed.

Tina is concerned about the whirlwind romance and has her doubts about Hans, but she doesn’t intervene.

While Anna is away with Hans for their wedding preparations in Sulani, Tina meets Sven Gael in Newcrest.

She, Sven, and Sven’s best friend, Kristoff Woods, became quick friends. Soon, Sven and Tina begin dating.

Meanwhile, in Sulani, Hans happens to meet his childhood friend, Vanessa Hartfield. He lies about being single, and they rekindled their friendship and spent a steamy night together.

Fast-forward to Anna and Hans’ wedding, Hans leaves Anna at the altar. The former couple cut off all ties after that. Anna and Vanessa are not aware of each other’s existence in Hans’ life.

A month later, Anna finds out that she is pregnant with Hans’ child. She decides to keep the baby and become a single mom.

Tina eventually goes steady with Sven. After finding out that Anna is pregnant, Kristoff and Sven ask Tina and Anna to live with them so that they can help take care of Anna.

Anna soon gives birth to a baby boy named Flynn, Tina and Sven got married and moved out, and Anna and Kristoff start to get closer.

Meanwhile, Hans got married to Vanessa, who poses as a businesswoman. In truth, Vanessa, who is abused by her step-mom, ran away from home when she was a teen. All these years, she is only using her father’s wealth to support her extravagant lifestyle.

When Hans finds out that Vanessa isn’t actually wealthy, he starts to physically abuse her.

Years later, Anna and Kristoff get married. During their honeymoon, Anna and Toddler Flynn happened to bump into Hans and Vanessa in Sulani.

Vanessa realizes that Flynn is Hans’ son — the red hair, the year of his birth, the resemblance to Hans. Hans denies this and threatens Vanessa not to make contact with Anna and Flynn.

Anna and Tina soon gave birth nearly at the same time: Anna with her daughter Elise, and Tina with her daughter Poppy.

Another timeskip, and Vanessa is pregnant — to Hans’ chagrin, as he hates children. It’s revealed that Hans was abused growing up, and his brothers (including him) are all involved in shady businesses.

Their business dealings led to the public murder of Hans (killed by his own brothers), and the televised news reached Anna and her friends. At this time, Flynn, who is now a child, realizes that Hans is his real father, not Kristoff, and gets extremely upset.

Flynn eventually accepts the truth, and he, together with her parents and Tina and Sven, attend Hans’ wake.

Meanwhile, Vanessa reunites with her estranged father at the wake. Vanessa moves to Newcrest with her father to start a new life.

Anna’s old family friend Olaf Whitman and his twin boys Ben and Zach moved to Newcrest as well after Olaf’s wife passed away. Vanessa soon gave birth to a baby girl named Heather.

Years later, Vanessa and Olaf fall in love and get married. Olaf also adopts Heather as his own. The kids grow up, Ben and Elise fall in love, Zach is in a relationship with an artist named Ember Williams, and Flynn and Poppy are officially together.

Anna also acquires Vanessa’s dad’s company, and Kristoff passes his farming and woodwork business to Flynn.
